Mrs. Edna “Mae” Curry Maguet
Mrs. Edna “Mae” Curry Maguet 89, died Sunday at Hospice House, Savannah, after a long illness.
She was a native of Kenova, West Virginia and a long time resident of Indialantic, Florida. She and her husband, Blackburn Nye Maguet, moved to Savannah about 15 years ago.
She was the beloved mother of one daughter, Ellen Maguet Tate, son-in-law, Lewis Copeland Tate, grandchildren, Lewis Judson Tate, Elizabeth Ellen Tate, one sister, Dorothy Curry Clay and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on August 3 at First Presbyterian Church, followed by a reception at 602 Washington Avenue.
