Savannah- Mr. Brian Christopher Knight, 18, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007 due to injuries resulting from a car accident. Brian was born September 27, 1988 and has lived in Savannah all his life. He attended Chatham County Schools, St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School and Memorial Day School. He was registered and planned to attend classes at the Culinary Institute at Ogeechee Technical College this fall. Brian was a communicant at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. He spent many hours with his family and friends. Being an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed the river, riding his jet ski, fishing from his boat or hunting and riding his four-wheeler in the country.

Brian was the beloved son of Rick and Cheri Knight, and youngest brother to Richard and Daniel Knight, the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. John Carlton Knight and Diane Lanier Connor and Phil Tharin Connor. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Renee R. Lanier.

Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, August 3, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with a Christian Wake Service at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 4, 2007 at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with the Reverend John Markham, Celebrant. Pallbearers will be Trey Knight, Matt Knight, Wesley Knight, Henry Chappell, Gene Spiva, Phillip Hall, Brett Smith, Cole Harrison and Mitchell Merritt.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park
