HARRY CECIL FOSTER, SR

Harry Cecil Foster, Sr., of The Landings, died peacefully on August 31, 2007 at Spanish Oaks Retreat. He joins his loving wife, Marie who preceded him in death this past May.
Harry was born on July 28, 1916 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Priscilla and William Foster. He served honorably as a Captain in the United States Army Air Corps during World War II as a B-26 pilot in North Africa and Italy. Harry had a distinguished career with Ciba Pharmaceuticals, retiring in 1984 to dedicate more time to his favorite pastime and passion, golf. He was loved and admired by his family and leaves four children, Beth Cunningham of Houston, Texas; Harry Foster and wife Annette of Detroit, Michigan; Bill Foster and wife Mary of Naples, Florida; Tom Foster and wife Lisa of Prosser, Washington; as well as eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

An interment service will be held in the garden of Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church on September 29, 2007 at 5:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Skidaway Island Presbyterian Church, 50 Diamond Causeway, Savannah, Ga. 31411 or Spanish Oaks Retreat, 8510 Whitfield Avenue, Savannah, Ga. 31406
