GUEST BOOK

Karen and George, I am so sorry. I still remember the slide show you put together about Phillip's life in 1993. He was an adorable happy baby. The other story I think of often is Karen's story about the sliding and giggling on the roof. It is ironic that I found out about his death on the Internet. Phillip touched my life, and I hope I had a positive influence on his. I am so very very sorry.

To the Archer family, I am so very sorry. Phil was a very shy guy that enjoyed the quiet, peaceful company we often shared. We spent a lot of time on the boat up and down the Indian River - and even a couple road trips up to Savannah. I remember stopping the boat at a small island out in the river one time, and walking around the crushed, white shells in bare feet - not realizing the ground was literally covered in seagull pooh. I ran back on to the boat and washed my feet in 'purell' for a half hour. We talked a lot - at great length, but other times, we wouldn't say much of anything - just enjoy a few peaceful hours on the river. Like a lot of people, I'm asking myself right now, 'What could I have done?' I wish I could have talked to him, although I don't know what I would have said then, because I'm not sure what to say now. I'll miss him, that's for sure, and I'm certain I'll think of Phil everytime I see a boat out on the river. I would call Phil out of the blue at times because in my cell phone, his number is right beneath my parents number. It served as a reminder to call him, since I knew he was home quite a bit and it was pretty easy to talk him in to going out on the boat. I haven't talked to Phil in about a month now, and I guess I have learned a very difficult lesson in reminding people in my life how very important each and every one of you are. Goodbye my friend, I miss you already.

Phillip who I have never met personally other than through David his brother and George his father has always come across from the the both of them as someone who was loved very much. I am learning the love of the water and sailing run in the vessels of this family. The Lord has him with him at the helm now. Our prayer is that the rest of the family is able to go on they way we all have to do with the loss of our loved ones. Feel free to call me anytime of the day or night if you need to talk. Karen and George, I am so very sorry to learn of the loss of your son. It doesn't seem like that long ago when we were visiting with you in Charlotte & the kids were all running around and we took them out for fried chicken. Where do the years go? I wish I was closer to help and to be a friend. If there is anything that I can do, please don't hesitate to call. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Much love and strength to all your family. Peace... Lynda and family
