Thomas Joseph Stubbs

Thomas Tommy Joseph Stubbs, age 15 months, adored son of Joseph and Emily Stubbs, beloved brother of Ella Grace and Eliza Blue Stubbs, died in his home in the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 26, 2007.

Tommy was born June 15, 2006 at Candler Hospital in Savannah, GA. He was baptized at Christ Church by The Reverend Layne Hansen. His first word was bird. He loved peaches, peanut butter and jelly and his big sisters' orange juice. He was our darling angel with the most beautiful smile. Tommy completed our family and the joy he gave us can never be replaced.

He is survived by his loving parents Joseph Truman and Emily Griffith Stubbs; his sisters, Ella Grace and Eliza Blue Stubbs; great-grandmother, Helen Burford Griffith of Huntsville, AL; grandparents Thomas Harris and Susan Griffith of Huntsville, AL, Joseph Truman and Ann Stubbs of Savannah, GA and Virginia Murray of Huntsville, AL; Aunts and Uncles Sallie and Jason Chung of Huntsville, AL, Katie Griffith of Savannah, GA, Ginny and Tom Stafford of Huntsville, AL , Shawn and Scott Ciemniecki of Birmingham, MI, and Sharon and Ryan Schneider of Savannah, GA; Godparents Meredith and Parker Griffith of Nashville, TN; Great-God Parents Robert and Patricia Kovac of Atlanta, Ga. Tommy is also survived by many cousins Ann, Caitlyn, Len, Joseph, Pier, JJ and Liam. He will be dearly missed by everyone.

A memorial service to celebrate Tommy's life will be held at 10 am, Saturday, September 29, 2007 at Christ Church, 28 Bull Street, Savannah, GA. The Reverends Marc Robertson and Layne Hansen will officiate. A private internment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, please send memorials in Tommy's name to Christ Church, 18 Abercorn Street, Savannah, GA 31401.
