Robert A. Brandel
February 21, 1943 - October 22, 2007
Robert "Bob" A. Brandel, 64, died October 22, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital. He was born in Chicago, Illinois and lived at Tybee Island over twelve years. He was a United States Army Reserve Veteran and previously a manager for Stuckey's Inc. and had worked for Physicians Sales and Service, Sears and Golden Flake. Bob, for many years was involved in radio broadcasting and entertainment, affectionately known around Tybee Island as "Chicago Bob".
Surviving are his wife of ten years, Margaret of Tybee Island; children; Brenda, Kimberly, Ramona, Eleanor, Colette, Justine, Mykila; sisters, Barbara, Mari Lynn; former wife, Rita; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 25, 2007 at St. Michael's Catholic Church.

We consider ourselves very fortunate to have known Bob. His genuine smile and 'How 'ya doin'?' always got smiles in return. We will miss him. Our sincere condolences to Margaret and all his family.
