Savannah-David Lindsey Lovett passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2007, in Las Vegas, NV from a brief illness. Born November 19, 1954, he was 52.

Mr. Lovett, son of Henry L. Lovett, Jr and Margaret Meadows Lovett both deceased, was born in York, PA and raised in Savannah, GA. He held a Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University with a Master's Degree in Health Physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Mr. Lovett served in the Naval Reserves and was most recently employed as a private contractor in the field of nuclear health physics. He was also a devoted Mason. He was formerly married to Alba M. Lovett and is survived by their two children, Marlina Elizabeth and James David Lovett of Kennesaw, GA; and his siblings Henry L. Lovett, III of Savannah, GA and Mary L. Pendexter of Hampton, GA.

Graveside service will take place on Saturday, November 10, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in memory of David be sent to the American Heart Association.
