I was talking with Susan a little while ago, and mentioned the fact that no one had signed the online guest book yet. We had a few moments of silliness which I will not relate here, but which we both appreciated very much, mostly doing with the fact that we needed an opportunity to release the tension, anxiety, and grief which we all feel with Anton's passing. She also mentioned that in her job as a real estate agent, sometimes visitors are reluctant to be the 'first' to sign any kind of a registry, which I have to admit I felt as well, particularly in regard to signing the beginning of the final chapter in Anton's life. For Rhonda, Lacey, Joani, Anton, Susan, Richard, and all of our families, let's remember him fondly, and keep alive within ourselves what he contributed to our lives. Also remember the wonderful sense of humor which the Withington, Solms, Cheves, and other families share which has helped us through difficult times. For those of you who don't recognize the signature .... Bucky

Aunt Selma and Uncle Dick always extended their home and hospitality to us when we visited Savannah from Mexico. Anton, being the 'seniorest' Solms grandchild was the ring leader of all us Solms grandkids. We can't come to grieve with you, but know we wish we could. Mark and Harriet Solms Mathews
