Oh, Lori, my heart just aches for your loss...having lost my own mother to cancer, I know the hard road you all have traveled. May you know the peace of God's promise during this time of sorrow. During the few times we met and hearing Monique always speak of you in such a kind and thoughtful way, I know you were a daughter of whom your mother was most proud.

Phyllis was my very best friend throughout high school. Many people considered Phyllis their best friend, though, because she was so warm and generous to everyone she knew. She made friends easily. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and after spending a day with Phyllis, I always went home a little happier. I will miss her.
