Ava Miriam Trenaman

Savannah- Mrs. Ava Miriam Trenaman, 102, died January 2, 2008 at her home under the care of Hospice surrounded by her family.
Ava was a native of Russiaville, Indiana and lived in Florida for many years before moving to Savannah in 1969. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of the Islands where she taught the Muriel McCall Adult Women’s Sunday School Class. She was the widow of Robert Wilcher Trenaman.
Survivors include her son Robert F. Trenaman of Savannah; grandchildren, Donna Whitfield of Savannah, Miriam Ludden of Matthews, NC, Robert A. Trenaman of Savannah, Richard L. Trenaman, of Charleston, SC, James Allen Trenaman of Savannah, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great –great grandson.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 5, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of the Islands with Reverend Brooks Cail officiating.
Burial will take place on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Palm Beach Memorial Park in Palm Beach, Florida.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, remembrances be made to the First Baptist Church of the Islands, 6613 Johnny Mercer Blvd., Savannah, GA 31410 or Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190, Savannah, GA 31416.
