An avid sportsman, Archie was a loyal Bulldog, Tar Heel, and Braves fan. His live-in Powder Puff crew added as many trophies to the shelves as his fishing trips with his friends. He also enjoyed hunting, piloting small planes, and playing the piano. However, his passion was sport fishing. His family and friends will remember the many exciting trips aboard Another World. Betty, Libby, Rebecca and Bernice, I grieve with you today because I, too, will miss Archie. I can remember great times at your home on 45th Street, times on his boat which he shared so generously, times at Country Day and beyond. I will always be grateful for his support of Eric. And I will always admire and remember him for his sense of humor, love of family, and courageous fight over the past few years. I know you are proud of him and a life lived well. Much love, Kathryn
