To the Family of Mrs. Monica Trapani, My condolences go out to all of you. Your loss is a great one. She was such a kind-hearted lady and one particularly close to my heart. Her warm, grandmotherly attitude and of course her fine cooking skills- broccoli and cheese casserole and poundcake- will be deeply missed every year at the beach. My thoughts are with you in this sad occasion. May God Bless. Sincerely, Katlyn E. Rowland

A life long family friend as well as my teacher, Monica will be missed but never forgotten. There are to many of Ms. Trapani 'kids' out there to let that happen. To the family know that you had a special gift given to you and that can't ever be taken away now she just watches from above with that infectious smile of hers. I am truly sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Beth Patton

With profound sorrow this morning, I read the notice of my teacher's passing.I remember meeting her the first time as my 6th grade teacher at Moore Avenue School Charles Herty so many years ago. So vibrant and full of life! She was one of those teachers who always stood out in my memory many, many years later! She helped thousands of children during her lifetime of teaching. I was so happy that a group of 'her kids' were able to honor her several times over the last few years with her presence as our guest of honor for dinner. She was always so appreciative of us doing this for her and for us honoring her. BUT we were the ones who considered it an honor to have her with us for a few hours, and we WERE the ones who were thankful for her presence!!! To Tommy, her beloved husband, and her beloved family, please know that there are many of us today who share your grief and loss!!! We dearly loved her as well!! May God give her Eternal rest and keep her always in His loving arms!!
