Nancy Flanagan Skinner

Savannah- Mrs. Nancy Helen Skinner, 89, died Tuesday, February 05, 2008 at Hospice Savannah.
She was a native of Petty, Texas but was raised and attended schools in Honey Grove, Texas. She joined the Red Cross and was stationed in Berlin where she met and married her husband in 1946. James Carl Skinner was a Major in the U.S. Army and together they were stationed at various bases and two foreign countries. Her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Philip Parsley of Savannah; three sisters, Billie Jean Morgan and Virginia Flanagan, both of Dallas, TX, Gladys Roberts of Plainview, TX; granddaughter, Sarah Moak and her husband, Lt. Scott Moak; great grandchildren, Holly & Hayden Moak, all of Pensacola, FL; four nephews and one niece.
A Memorial Visitation for Mrs. Skinner will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, February 7 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. Burial will be private.
