Savannah- Mr. Ron Harvey, 60, died Wednesday, February 06, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center.
Ron was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah. He was a Savannah High School graduate and owner of Dock Master Marine. He loved the water, cooking, his grandchildren and his sister Linda. He was the best father a son could ask for. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Harvey, Jr. and Addie McCorkle Harvey.
Survivors include his son, Richard Harvey of Savannah; sister, Linda Harvey Davis of Tybee Island; two brothers, Gary Lee Harvey of Ellabell and David Bruce Harvey of Richmond Hill; three grandchildren, Zachary Brice Harvey, Richard Robert Harvey, Jr., Amberlyn McKenna Harvey and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 8, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel with The Reverend Patrick O'Brien, officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
