Patricia White Harrison

Patricia White Harrison, 78, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008 in Statesboro, GA. She was a native and lifelong resident of Savannah and was a member of Montgomery Presbyterian Church. Pat was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed the outdoors and loved all things to do with the river at Shipyard creek. She lovingly cared for many relatives through the years particularly her husband, Noel Harrison. She lived her life with grace and dignity never saying an unkind word of anyone. She loved music and was often heard whistling a happy tune. She read deeply and widely which gave her great wit and wisdom about life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Noel L. Harrison, Jr. and her brother, Arthur L. White.

She is survived by her son, Dr. Gary N. Harrison, and his wife Emily, of Statesboro, her daughter, Sherry McFarland, and her husband, Tom, of Appling, grandchildren, Robin Axelberd Josh, Michael Harrison, David Harrison Meghan, Stephen Dormire, Rebecca Forest Michael, Kathryn Harrison, Scott McFarland Barbara, Michael McFarland, Kristen and five great-grandchildren, Harrison, Colby, Owen, Miles, and Cooper. She is also survived by her sisters, Barbara Sturgess Joe, Jeanette Salter Arthur, and Shirley Goodwin Jimmy.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m, Friday, March 21, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with Dr. Mark Guiliano officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Remembrances may be made to Montgomery Presbyterian Church, 10192 Ferguson Ave, Savannah, GA 31406.
