EDWARD JOHN STAAB
Mr. Edward John Staab 83, died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Azalealand Nursing Home.
Mr. Staab was a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania living most of life in Pompano Beach, Florida. Mr. Staab has been a resident of Savannah for the past 3 years. He was a veteran o f the United States Army serving in WWII and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Mr. Staab was retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret R. Staab, his brother, Robert Joseph Staab, his sisters, Anna Marie Hlavsa and Sister Celesta Staab.
Surviving is his sister, Janet Carol Bergmann of Savannah, a niece Jane Hlavsa of Tennessee, his nephews, Michael and Scott Bergmann and several other nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Graveside Services will be Thursday, March 27, 2008 at 11 a.m. in Bonaventure Cemetery.
The Family is very grateful to Hospice Savannah and Azalealand Nursing Home for their precious care.
