Carolyn Williams Flood, 86, died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Hospice Savannah. She was born June 28, 1921 and was the daughter of John B. Williams and Thelma D. Williams, of Savannah. Her husband Dan J. Flood preceded her in death. She was an exercise instructor at the Y.M.C.A. and the J.E.A. and was the President of the P.T.A.'s at Blessed Sacrament and Benedictine Military School of Savannah.
She is survived by two sons, Dan J. Flood, Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Savannah, and John W. Flood and his wife, Mary, of Hilton Head and one sister, Elizabeth Kilroy, of Atlanta. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John W. Flood, Jr., of Hilton Head, Mary J. Devine, of Palm City, FL, Dan J. Flood, IV, of Rincon, great-grandchildren, Gregory J. Aldew, Daniel Flood, IV, and Ryan Flood.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2008 at Bonaventure Cemetery.
