GEORGE BERNARD LITTLE, JR.

George Bernard Little, Jr. 84, died Monday, April 07, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Little was a native and longtime resident of Savannah. He graduated from Benedictine Military School in 1941. He was retired from Havertys after many years of service. Mr. Little was a veteran of United States Navy serving in both WWII and the Korean War. He was a member St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, the St. Patrick Parade Committee and the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Little loved to work in his shop and "Cut the Fool."

Mr. Little was preceded in death by his parents, George B. Little, Sr. and Etta Lasky Little, his wife, Helen Lemoine Little and his brother, James M. Little.

Surviving is his wife, Patricia S. Little, his daughter, Patty Thigpen and husband Don; his son, George Little III and wife Debbie; his son, James Johnson and wife, Andrea; his daughters, SheyLa Kimball and husband Scott and Vicki Wilkerson and husband Eddie. Also surviving are his sisters, Ethel L. Jerome and Eva L. Hendrix; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two apples of his eye; Chris and Amber Powell.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 9, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with a Christian Wake Service at 6 p.m.

Graveside Services will be private.
