I am deeply sorry to hear of Angie's passing and I pass my condolences to her familty. I was fortunate to have attending all twelve years of school with her, from Charles Ellis Elementarry to Savannah High. We only knew Angela for a brief time as a student in our real estate class. In 3 months time we grew to know a very compassionate, bright, gentle, and loving mother in Angela. She was generous with her time, knowledge, and kindness. As the instructor of the class, I meet so many people who are in transition. Angela looked forward to the joys of a career in real estate and the ability to spend more time with her daughter. It is such a stunning and tragic loss for all of us, and to convene for class without her will be difficult. We are all better people for the chance to know her, and we will keep her and all of her friends and family in our prayers. Mostly, we will fondly remember the stories she enjoyed telling of her daughter Juliana. We pray that God will keep Juliana in His care. She was the light in Angela's life. Angela, we will miss you...

I was so sorry to hear of Angie's premature death. She was a dear and dedicated volunteer and friend. She was the kind of person who always had a kind word and a smile and who gave 100% to whatever she believed in. I am so glad she believed in the Junior League of Savannah. During my years as Treasurer, Finance Vice President, President-Elect, and President, I knew I could always count on her to be an integral part of Thrift Sale, along with her mother, Jewel, an honorary Junior League member. Angie's family is in my thoughts and prayers and my memories of her will keep her close to me until I can see her again in heaven.

- Laura Hassell, Savannah, GA
