Grandma Katie was a wonderful, caring person. She is at peace now. Grandma always was very caring and kind to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved for everyone to bring her fresh fish and shrimp that we caught. She loved living at Turners Creek and being near the water. She cared about all of her children and always asked about everyone when we visited her.

Katie was good friends with my grandmother, Dolly Elliott. They played cards together. I remember Katie as a very kind lady with a great personality. As a child I loved being around her. I am so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. I will always remember the times with Aunt Katie at Folly Beach when I was staying with Grandma Deal during the summer. She is in a much greater place out of pain and suffering. God Bless! Bonnie, Mark and Family
