I am glad I got to meet Mrs. Mathews--to meet her made it easier to understand how such a warm and loving family came to be. We are glad that she got to see her grandchildren grow up healthy and acheive success in their own right and especially for her to be able to hold her great grand children. She leaves a legacy of love that will last many generations. God has a wonderful new angel!

Dear Ellen and David, Some people think an E-mail rememberance is impersonal. I hope you do not consider it so. I just want you to know that I am thinking of you both, especially, you Ellen, in the loss of your mother. I cannot imagine how difficult it must be, and remember speaking of her at the picnic on Sunday. I will try to be at the visitation but doubt I will be able to attend the funeral during work on Thursday. I do know that the prayers of the daughters have been with her and that she is in a much better place, though that might not be much comfort right now because you miss her. All my love, Janet Godfrey
