Savannah- Judith Adcock Williams, 69, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Judy was born in Monroe, Ga to the late John and Mary Clegg Adcock. She graduated from Monroe High School. She received her Bachelor's degree from LaGrange College and a Master's degree from Valdosta State.
Judy taught 2 years in the Bryan County Public School system and two years in the Bacon County Public School system and retired after 25 years in the Coffee County Public County School system. She served as the Department Head of Social Studies for Coffee High.
Surviving are her husband, Tom Williams; Daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Greg Schaack; Son and daughter-in-law, Brett and Melody Williams; Grandchildren: Lindsay and Morgan Schaack, Jessica and Madeline Crisler, and Bryson Williams.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at the family home in Douglas, GA.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 30, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Douglas, GA with Reverend Benjamin Varnell officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the St. Joseph's/Candler Foundation, 11705 Mercy Blvd., Savannah, GA 31419 or J.C. and Nancy Lewis Cancer Research Pavilion, 225 Candler Dr. , Savannah, GA 31405.
