Celebrating the life of

Tammy Bowen

December 20, 1958 - June 05, 2008

Tammy Bowen

I, Tammy Lee Bowen, received the call from my heavenly Father on the fifth day of June, 2008.
I eagerly answered even though the fight against a cancerous brain tumor had been around since October 1994. I look forward to the joy and beauty of Heaven. To all my many friends, you all hold a very special place in my heart. My prayer is that each of you will take time to consider your eternal future. The choice is heaven, streets of gold; or hell with fire and brimstone. My God can do all things. He is in the miracle making business and I know, because, I am one. "No Tears Please." These words were from Tammy.

I used to work for Tammy in 2003-2004. Upon my return to Savannah I heard about Tammy's passing much too late to sent my condolences. She has been missed and I will continue to miss and think of her often.

I knew Tambo when I lived in Rochelle, GA. She was great girl. I got reaquainted with her when she came to GA Southern and joined Phi Mu. We realized that we had know each other from elementary school and we had a great time catching up! So sorry to hear about her passing but I know she is making God smile! Love you Tambo, Caren Roberts Walker

I am deeply saddened to learn of Tammy’s passing. I remember her from our days in elementary through high school and always knew she would excel in her life calling. She inspired me. I have fond memories of Tammy and will miss her smile. I know she is now with Jesus.

I was deeply sadened upon hearing of Tammy's reoccurring cancer. I admired and respected her greatly. I know she is with her father in heaven, never to suffer again. I'll always remember her compassion and beautiful smile. My prayers to you, the loved ones who are left with this void. Sincerely, Grace Reddick

Tammy was such a pleasure to work with, and I always appreciated her easy candor, and the genuine compassion with which she advocated for her clients.

- Kevin Almeroth, Savannah, GA

How can you think of Tambo and not smile? She was one of the nicest and most genuine people I had the pleasure of meeting and being sisters with in college. She always had a kind word, saw the good in people and was genuinely a happy person. I have thought of her often especially while driving in the last couple of days. While thinking of her there always seems to be a beam of sunshine through the trees. It makes me think that that is how Tambo was. A ray of sunshine for all of us. When I see the beams now, I think it is her smiling down on all those who had the honor of knowing her. I know she is in heaven right now cheering God on and all those who believe. Rest in peace Tambo and much love and admiration, Susan 'Adams' Wolters

- Susan Adams Wolters, Byram, NJ
