I will always remember Jan as a dear friend and a wonderful colleague. I first met him when I went to work at St. Joseph's Hospital in 1978. He led me through the maze of the surgical suite and taught me how to survive as a radiological technologist in the operating room there. From that time on, we shared hours and memories together as I am still at work and have had the opportunity to see him on numerous occasions. He meant a great deal to many people. What a remarkable life he lived. What a courageous man. What a wonderful friend. My prayers are with his family.
