Mary Ernestine Merriman
April 09, 1919 - June 16, 2008
Ernestine S. Merriman, 89 died Monday, June 16, 2008 at Azalealand Nursing Home. She was a native of Smoaks, South Carolina and lived most of her life in Savannah. She was preceded in death by her husband, George E. Merriman. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church and was retired from Savannah Bank and Trust.
She is survived by her son, Stephen G. Donna Merriman, Sr., of Savannah, one grandson, Stephen G. Meredith Merriman, Jr., of Savannah, two granddaughters, Christine Merriman, of Savannah, and Jessica Merriman, of Atlanta, two great-grandchildren, Rachel and Glenn Merriman, III.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190 Savannah, GA 31416.
