Dell B. Yandell
SAVANNAH – Dell B. Yandell, age 65, died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at Memorial Health University Medical Center. The Sylvania native was a longtime resident of Savannah. She retired from Gulfstream Aerospace and was a longtime faithful employee and member of American Legion, Post 36. She was also Past President of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Dell gave willingly to others, especially her family, never asking for acknowledgement or anything in return.
Surviving are three children, Bryan K. Mattingly and girlfriend Misty Irick of Savannah, William S. Mattingly and his wife, Tina L., of Rincon, and Tina M. Hillman and her husband, Stacy B., of Rincon; five grandchildren, Pvt. 3 Christopher S. Mattingly, currently serving in Iraq, Michael Seth Hillman, Stacy Leigh Hillman, Bryan Scott Mattingly, and Brandon Thomas Mattingly; six siblings, Barbara Jean Snipes of Pt. Wentworth, Charlotte Carmichael of Virginia, Stanley C. Bragg II of Effingham County, James Bragg of South Carolina, Ida Mae Rogers of Pembroke, George Bragg of Effingham County, and Perry Lyndell Bragg of South Carolina.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The family will gather at American legion Post 36 on Victory Drive following the service.

Dear Family, I am so sorry to hear of Dale's passing. I have been a friend for about 45 years. We met at the bowling ally and I baby sat her children in the bowling ally nursery. She was a good frield and I will always remember her deep in my heart. I love you Dale and I will see you where Eagles Fly.
