Celebrating the life of

Carolyn Webster Golden

December 19, 1976 - December 02, 2018

Carolyn Webster Golden

Carolyn Webster Golden, 41, of Savannah, GA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday December 2, 2018, as the result of an accident while visiting friends in Vermont.

She was born December 19, 1976 in London, England to Robert Kehoe Golden and Sandra Pierce Golden while the family was living and working abroad.  Carolyn loved traveling and experiencing life in many places, having lived in Cairo, Egypt, Chicago, IL, Westport, CT, Portland, OR, and Los Angeles, CA,  before returning home to Savannah in 2013 to enjoy life with Meg and the boys.

She is a graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy and attended Armstrong Atlantic State University and the University of Portland.  She relocated to Portland and enjoyed a successful career in the film and TV industry.  Her passions were her family, fearlessly enjoying the outdoors and her beloved pets.  She was a talented woodcrafter and Ms. Fix It.  Many family and friends benefitted from her joy of helping others and she had a special gift for helping the homeless and the disenfranchised.  Her smile could light up a room; she had the biggest heart and treated everyone with love and kindness.

She is survived by her loving family:  mother Sandra Golden (Catherine); father Robert Golden; brother Pierce Golden; nephews Paiton and Skye; and partner Meg Lego and her beloved Marshall and Hayden all of Savannah, GA.   She will be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church at 1008 E. Henry Street, Savannah, GA.  Reception immediately following the service in the church social hall.  Private graveside service at Bonaventure Cemetery following the reception.

The family suggests remembrances be made in her memory to Union Mission, 120 Fahm Street, Savannah, GA, 31401, or to the Emergency Fund at Asbury Memorial United Methodist Church at 1008 E. Henry Street, Savannah, GA, 31401, that assists people throughout the community who find themselves in difficult situations.

Thank you Mom, Susan Hoskins for your heartfelt words. Carolyn was a gentle kind soul with a heart as tall as as a mountain and eyes as deep as an ocean. Talented as a photographer, woodworker and mechanical, figuring things out without instruction. Her love was unconditional as her dogs had. And Her round eyes forsaw depths that others may not. That was just one of her many gifts. This is a very hard time for our family, our Son, as her as his Aunt. We can just be Thankful, that she moved back from Oregon and Paiton was able to be around her and be a part of her life with Meg. God speed
