Dorothy Walker Rusk
SAVANNAH – Dorothy Walker Rusk, age 98, died Saturday, July 26, 2008, at Green Acres Nursing Home in Milledgeville, GA. A native of Screven County, she was a lifelong resident of Savannah. Mrs. Rusk retired from J. C. Penney Co. after many years of service.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Oren C. Rusk, Jr. and Carol Rusk of Atlanta; a daughter and son-in-law, Ann Conneff and Pete Conneff of Savannah; eight grandchildren, Trey Rusk Sheila and Kevin Rusk Tawana of Atlanta; Kim Beckham Scott of Milledgeville, Larry Conneff Vickie, Matthew Conneff Dedee, Patricia Starling, Thomas Conneff Jennifer, and Stephen Conneff Shawn, all of Savannah; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel, with The Rev. Joseph Smith officiating.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
