To Mike...your mom dad, too were an important part of the Willson family's lives, especially to Rod and Doug. Your mom's grilled cheese sandwiches w/chips at lunchtime popped into Rod's mind immediately as one of his fondest memories...and who could ever forget the whiffle ball games on our driveway? I am sorry it took this many weeks to get communication going to you but want you to know how well regarded you and your parents were to all us Willsons back in Northbrook in the 70's. I personally have particular memories of enjoyable times with Joan; we were always up for a laugh about our families....she was a lot of fun and ever-so generous with her time and gourmet talents when it came to you and our boys...such a very nice and good person. Jay and I were delighted to see your folks when they called on us in Santa Fe soon after we made the big move to the SW. Your dad had us in stitches and your mom was interested in the lifestyle change this move created for us. We throughly enjoyed their visit. I'm glad Joan was in the SE not too far from Atlanta so your family could be 'in the neighborhood' so to speak. I'm sure it was a comfort to her to have you near Skidaway. Although we really only know you among your siblings, our condolences to each and every one of you for your loss. All us Willsons will cherish our own memories of the Mougey family in so many special ways...and an extra hug to you, Mike. Gail

I was priviledged to be in Joanie's Bible study group for the last 9 years. She was an enthusiatic participant and always wanted to read more of the verses or chapters than assigned. We told her often how much of an example and inspiration she was to us and to others and she always seemed surprised by that. We will especially miss her never failing faith, her upbeat attitude life was wonderful and her constant smile. We will miss her and celebrate that she is where she can be the happiest possible. Our condolences to her family, and friends. She was a sweet lady, kind; full of life. She shared her poetry, especially one about a butterfly, with us under a tree, in the backyard one sunny Summer afternoon in Dalton Gardens, Idaho. She will be remembered with Love. Debbie, Eric, Jamison, and Dorothy

We were neughbors in Northbrook many years ago, but have kept in touch via e-mail and occasional phone calls. She always was a joy and had a great sense of humor. She sent me jokes and we frequently shared political articles. I will truly miss her
