I just wanted to say how sorry I am to hear of Mr. Phils passing. I met him thru his late wife, Susie Coulter of whom I tutored on her computer. I was in high school back then in the mid 90's and did not drive, so he would come and pick me up, and take me home. And he would often talk about his days at IBM, and his family, and showed me pictures of them all. Oh he loved his kids so much, and talked of them and their accomplishments. As I look back in my memory bank I remember riding with him in his black audi I believe it was back and forth on Skidaway road.. just chatting away, and he would often give me a jar of pickles that he made. Man were those pickles good. He was such a joy to be around, God is lucky to have him in heaven making his special pickles.. Rest well Mr. Phil, you deserve it.

Our deepest condolences from Dr. Landa's office. I took your father over to Day Surgery in a wheel chair one day for his pre-op appointment and we talked all the way over. When we got there he said 'Thank you so much....not for the ride but for the company.' You could tell in a very short time, he was a special man who loved his family very much. We will miss seeing him.

Mr. Phil was a great dancer at all our parties. He enjoyed all the activities here. I will miss the Savannah Strut with Phil to the sounds of the band. My condolences to the family.
- Billie, Savannah, GA
To the family of Phil we extend our deepest sympathy. Bill used to play poker with him and his buddies on Wednesday evenings at the Squares. We will always remember this past New Year's Eve at the Squares. He was dancing and loving every minute of it. He was a special gentleman. Peace be with him.

My condolences to the family. I am the director of Palmetto Inn at Savannah Square. Mr. Phil had a lot of ideas and suggestions on what was best for the facility and he was usually right. I enjoyed his sense of humor and many times asked his advice. I will miss him.
