GUEST BOOK

My deepest Sympathy, may god bless.

Sandy, My aunt was Annie McKenna. She was so fond of Doy and so was my mother, Ruth. I am sorry about Doy's illness and death. He was a wonderful man--I have heard so many glowing things about him from Annie, Mama, and Charlie. Please know of my prayers for you in and during this difficult time. I know what it is to have a husband die--it is devastating. Love,

What can I say about Doy other than he was a great guy. He was kind hearted and always greeted you with a smile. I, myself, was very heart broken to hear that Doy has passed on. To his family, I pray that you have a since of peace. He may be gone physically but he will be with you forever in spirit. GOD BLESS!!!!

I Will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the Lord. The humble shall hear of it and be glad. Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. Psalm 34:1-3 I thank God for the opportunity to have worked with such a fine statue of a man. He was once my boss; a mentoir and forever my friend. Perhaps his time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undo grief. This is not the end but the beginning. May God forever Bless and keep you

It was very hard to receive the news of Doy's passing yesterday. It is very rare in life that you meet someone with so much passion for both his family and his profession. Doy touched so many people who walked through the doors of Krispy Kreme in ways he might never have known. I will remember him most for his warm smile, firm handshake, and tireless dedication to a brand he loved so much. Sandy, thank you for allowing us, the Krispy Kreme family, to have shared so much time and so many memories with your husband. Know that an entire company is praying for you and your family during this difficult time. The things your husband taught me during the years we worked together have helped me probably more than I could ever realize. I can't help but think that when the hot light comes on in the morning at KK Skidaway, Doy and Mr. Degenhardt are catching up on lost time and smiling down on the people they love. God bless Doy and his family. Chris & Kristal Brown

Rebecca, Sandra, Brian, Nyra, Erwin, Courtney, Kellianne and Brianne, We are thinking of you during this sad time. You loved Doy and he most certainly loved you all. Death does not take away love. It just covers it with a layer of sadness, because we cannot touch or see our loved one any longer. As time goes by, and the sadness lifts, the love is revealed again in joyful memories. We are so sorry for your loss, but are happy that you had such a wonderful Husband and Father. We will miss him, too, as he was a very dear friend to us. May God continue to bless and comfort you in the days ahead. Love Always, Skip & Nancy Watson
