Helen Heitmann Potts, 87, died August 11, 2008 at Candler Hospital. The lifelong resident of Savannah was a member of The Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Ascension and a homemaker. Her husband, Claude Franklin Potts, Sr. preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons and a daughter-in-law, Frank Potts of Bryan County; Charles and Linda Potts of Charlotte, NC; Marvin Potts of Savannah.
Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside Service: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
