MARTHA SUMMERLIN

Richmond Hill-Martha Summerlin 76 passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at her home with her family by her side from COPD.
She was born December 4th, 1931 to Lehmon and Enid Lanier in Brooklet, Georgia.
She graduated from Commercial High School in 1950. She retired from Savannah Bank First Union. She was a member of Savannah Progressive Primitive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in-law, June Osbourne and Jimmy Osbourne.

She was a loving mother who enjoyed cooking, shopping, and playing cards with her friends.

Surviving are, her son David Neil Summerlin and wife Dathia of Richmond Hill, her daughter, Donna Nutter and husband George of Richmond Hill, her grandsons, Ryan Nutter and wife Tiffnay of Savannah, Russell Nutter of Richmond Hill, her brother, L.A. Lanier and wife, Lynne of Savannah and her sister Carolyn Tyler and husband Kirby of Elberton, Ga.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.

Funeral Services will be Friday, August 15, 2008 at 1 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with the Elder Wayne Gibbs officiating.

Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
