Mary E. Potter, 86, died Sunday, August 24, 2008 at Hospice House. She was a native of Opelika, Alabama and lived in Savannah most of her life. She was a member of Miller Inner City United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Stanfield Wayne, of Savannah, and Shirley Yarbrough, of Guyton, one son, Jimmy Potter Beth, of Statesboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Miller Inner City United Methodist Church, 2401 Elgin St. Savannah, GA 31404 with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
Remembrances may be made to Hospice Savannah or her church.
