Joan Gross Tanner Wolfe
Passed away on December 08, 2018
Joan Gross Tanner Wolfe was born January 17, 1931 and died on Saturday, December 8, 2018 under the care of Pruitt Hospice after a long illness. She was predeceased by her parents Charles Allen Gross and Joan T. Van Arsdale, brothers John Russell Van Arsdale Gross and Charles Allen Gross, Jr. and sisters Clinton G. Jaugstetter, and Phoebe Elizabeth Gross.
She is survived by her sister-in-law Carolyn Parrish Gross, daughter-in-law Anjie Owens, granddaughter Isabelle Owens and many nieces and nephews.
Joan was a graduate of Saint Vincent's Academy and a long-time employee of Strachen Shipping Co. and I.T.T.E.U.
A rosary will be read at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel followed by visitation from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
May the God of all comfort strengthen the Wolfe family for the loss of your dear loved one during these most difficult times. God keeps those who have fallen asleep in death in His memory because they are precious in his eyes “Psalm 116:15” and “John 5:28,29”

So sorry for the lost of your love one, Since death wasn't originally God's purpose for mankind, it is very painful to deal with, but please read the wonderful hope that The Bible holds out for us all at Revelation 21 : 3&4 my thoughts and prayers are with you.
