Minnie Ann Williams Allen

Savannah/Tybee Island - Minnie Ann Williams Allen, 87, died September 3, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Savannah, daughter of the late Albert Leo Williams and Annie McKale Williams. During World War II, Mrs. Allen was employed at Travis Field and lived many years on Tybee Island rearing her six children. She was a longtime member of Riverside Baptist Church. Her husband, James E. Allen and her son, James E. Whitt, Jr. preceded her in death.

Surviving are her children, Wade H. Breazel, Jr. and his wife, Sue of Tybee Island; Charles R. Breazel and his wife, Doris Ann of Montverde, FL: Linda L. Church and her husband, D. Bruce of Decatur, GA; Nancy Brown and her husband, William of Guyton; Carolyn Sue Tackett of Westland, MI; sixteen grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2008 in the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.

Burial: Hillcrest Abbey Memorial Park.
