Tybee Island - Maeree Morgan Persons Deloach Fetzer, 88, died September 8, 2008 at Candler Hospital. She was born in Newington, Georgia, daughter of the late Claude and Sarah Lanier Morgan. She lived in Savannah since 1939 where she and her husband, Alexander S. Persons, Jr. were the owners and operators of Bay Street Auto Parts and E-Z Auto Parts. Mrs. Fetzer attended Chapel by the Sea Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alexander S. Persons, Jr., Jim Deloach and R.E. Fetzer.

Surviving are two sons, Alexander S. Persons, III of Tybee Island, GA; Robert R. "Randy" Persons of Shawnee, GA; daughter, Paula E. Garrett of Tacoma, WA; brother, Wilbur Morgan of Newington, GA; sister, Lois Sheppard of Savannah, GA; four grandchildren, five great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 12, 2008 at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel.

Graveside Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008 in Bonaventure Cemetery.
