To Cindy and family, Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family during this time. I've only met your father twice and each time he glowed with the light of our Lord. He leaves behind a legacy of light that is certainly reflected in the hearts and lives of all who know him.

To Miss Nan & Family.. I was so sad to hear about your loss. The whole neighborhood will not be the same without seeing Bernie working in the yard with you, walking Fritz or touring around on his bike...such a good man will not be forgotten.

He will be missed....he used to take me shrimping, do almost all the casting, and insist that I take most of shrimp...when he made a good cast and brought up a lot of shrimp he would say 'that's a Captain D's platter's...We went into a small creek and did good and he said I'm going to name this Jack Brown's Creek....He was a great and gentle person.
- Jack L. Brown, Savannah, GA
Mr. Dismukes was a very special friend to my father, Rufus Brabham. He was always kind and caring to him and made sure that he went to Savannah Volunteer Guard Meetings when he was no longer able to drive at night. I am sure he will be missed by many as he touched so many lives. I really appreciate what he did for my father and I am sure he helped many others. May God be with you and your family.
