Savannah - Grace Hilley Lee, 84, died September 28, 2008, at Hospice Savannah, Inc. The native of McCurtin County, Oklahoma, has been a resident of Savannah and the Bluffton, South Carolina area for over 50 years. She was a former EMT volunteer with the Marine Rescue Squadron in Bluffton and a Cub Scout Leader for many years. She was associated with Sea Pines Plantation for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She was proud to be associated with her many friends in the "Red Hatters" at Savannah Commons. She was a talented artist who focused on portraits and places of interest in the Low Country.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Melody Wolfe of Savannah; Ms. Bonnie Smith of Savannah; two sons, Gary Paul Lee of Hilton Head Island, SC; Roger Dale Lee of Hilton Head Island, SC; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008 in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
