Tybee Island- Mrs. Wilhemina R. Reed, 70, died Thursday, October 02, 2008 at the home of her daughter surrounded by her loving family.

Willie was born in Savannah and lived at Tybee Island for many years before moving to Guyton. She was a chef in food service for over 40 years and a member of Bible Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Crystal and Bo Thornton of Guyton and Donna and Kevin Miller of Tybee Island; sister and brother-in-law, Bert and Billy Bethune; grandchildren, Beau Thornton Ashley, Elizabeth Miller, T.J. Miller; great-grandchildren, Hayley, Raven and Caimen Thornton and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2008 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors with a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel with Reverend Thomas East officiating.
