Dana Fowler
July 25, 1934 - October 13, 2008
Savannah- Mr. Dana McVey Fowler, 74, died Monday, October 13, 2008 at Riverview Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Swainsboro but was a lifelong resident of Savannah. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the First Baptist Church of the Islands. He was a proud Christian who loved the Lord. His daughter, Kathie Fowler preceded him in death.
Survivors: daughter, Deena Lane and her husband Jimmy; daughter, Kristie Adams and her husband Robin; son, Dana Fowler, Jr., all of Savannah; sister, Peggy M. Waters and her husband Bob of Beaufort, SC; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.
Graveside Service: 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 16 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Reverend Brooks Cail officiating.

Dana was a dear and true friend to all that had the pleasure of knowing him. He is loved and will be missed by many. A great and very heart felt loss.
