Mary Hilda Olliff Waters, 88, died October 17, 2008 at Azalealand Nursing Home. Born in Bulloch County, Georgia, January 1, 1920, she was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey M. Olliff and Agnes Akins Olliff Cook; her husband, Paul Emerson Waters, Sr., and her brother, Henry Dewey Olliff. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Savannah.

Survivors include her son, Paul E. Waters, Jr., Christy; three grandchildren, Louisa Hightower Rusty; Emerson Waters Brandi and Ross Waters; six great-grandchildren; her aunt, Mrs. DeRoy Akins Beverly; her sister-in-law, Vera Barner Olliff; nieces, nephews and their families.

The family extends sincere thanks to everyone at Azalealand Nursing Home for the loving care given to Mary.

Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 19, 2008 in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
