Virginia Mae Wicker

Virginia Teston Wicker died Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Candler Hospital. Mrs. Wicker was born October 4, 1914 in Pembroke, Georgia and lived in Savannah most of her life. She was a life member of First Baptist Church. Mrs. Wicker was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Huntingdon Club, the Garden Club of Savannah and was a homemaker. She was an avid bridge player and a wonderful cook.
Mrs. Wicker was preceded in death by her husbands, Furman Mack Teston, Sr, and Robert Wicker, and her parents, Miles and Constance Harvey.
Surviving are, her sons, Furman Mack Teston, Jr. and wife Diana and Don Teston both of Savannah. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Connie Kilgore, Matthew Teston and Fredrick Teston all of the Atlanta area; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday, October 31, 2008 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 1, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel with Dr. John Finley and Brother Joseph Teston officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
