Brian Frank Eischeid, 59, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Savannah Square surrounded by his loving family.
Brian was born in Wareham, MA and lived the first 20 years of his life in the small town of Sagamore on Cape Cod Massachusetts. He attended Upper Cape Cod Vocational Tech in Bourne as he was always curious of mechanical parts. After high school, Brian set sight on California to start his career where he worked at Hyster. A long-time friend called him to interview with his employer, newish to the United States. Brian went on to work for Tetra Pak for 35 years and held lots of positions within the Field Service Operations group. He travelled extensively for most of his career...especially throughout the United States, but also Europe and South America. Promotions moved him from California to Texas to Atlanta. Brian and his wife Gail met while working in the same Region office for Tetra Pak. Brian was the most kind, gentle and loving person. Hardly ever a cross word to, or about anyone. He was a jokester and happy- go- lucky kind of guy who loved to play golf, watch golf on TV and attend The Masters. He loved Vegas and Craps. He loved his annual trip to Iowa with his cousins and uncles, and “married-ins” to hunt pheasant and play cards. Also, his vacations in the summer months with Gail’s family to Anna Maria Island and back to Sagamore with his family for the “Clam Bake”. And although not so popular in the South, he loved his New England Patriots.
Brian is survived by his wife Gail and 2 beautiful daughters, both of Savannah, Emilye - a Junior @ UGA and Elise - a Junior at SVA. He is the son of the late Norbert Frank Eischeid and survived by his mother Geraldine Rovatti Eischeid of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. Brian has one sister, Kerry Eischeid Tufts of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire and Robert Horgan. Brian has 2 brothers- in-law, Charles W Howard IV and his wife Debby Reed Howard of Jacksonville, and Jay W. Howard of Savannah. His sister-in law Carrie Howard Tawney was one of Brian’s best caregivers and is married to her husband Jeffrey Scott Tawney of Ponte Vedra, FL. Brian has 4 nieces -Amber Meriwether and spouse Seavey, Brittany Tufts and Taylor Howard, and his Goddaughter Rylie Tawney, and one nephew, Steven Tufts and Zoe Spiller of Stowe, Maine. Uncle B has lots of great nephews and nieces- Ava Grace, Addison Mae, Maverick Seavey, and Maddox Charles Meriwether and Everett Lee Tufts. And of course, the best neighbors and friends he and his family could ask for.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations in his memory to St. James Catholic Church and School are welcome.

Death is certainly an enemy that take those we love and leave much pain and emptiness of heart. Jesus Christ promised to call all those in the memorial tombs, they will hear his voice and come out.
