WILLIAM HUGHES PREACHER
Okatie, South Carolina- Mr. William Hughes Preacher 96, died Tuesday, November 11, 2008 at the Life Care Center on Hilton Head Island. Mr. Preacher was a native and lifelong resident of Beaufort County, South Carolina. Mr. Preacher farmed most of his life and was a shipyard machinist. He was a former member of the Indian Hill Baptist Church.
Mr. Preacher was preceded in death by his wife, Josie Sikes Preacher.
He is survived by his two sons, Gerald Edwin "Jerry" Preacher and James Edward "Jimmy" Preacher both of Okatie, South Carolina. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, 2008 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Services will be Friday, November 14, 2008 at 11 a.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel with burial following in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
