KATHERINE "KAY" SPRENGEL
Katherine "Kay" Sprengel 83, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She was a native of Colorado Springs, Colorado and was a longtime resident of Illinois and Florida before moving to Savannah 2 ½ years ago.
Mrs. Sprengel was a retired supervisor from Illinois Bell Telephone Company and attended Monmouth College in Illinois. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active with Meals on Wheels.
Surviving are, her husband, Edwin Sprengel of Savannah; her daughters, Sally Sprengel of Savannah, Susan Sprengel of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; her sons, Steven Sprengel of Willowbrook, Illinois, John Sprengel of St. Charles, Illinois and seven grandchildren.
A Memorial Services will be Monday, December 22, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors Hodgson Chapel.
In lieu of flowers please make remembrances to a charity of choice.
