Thunderbolt- Mrs. Martha McAleer Sims, 86, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at her residence.
The native and life long resident of Savannah worked with Acme Press for many years. She was a homemaker and communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Henry Joseph McAleer, III and C.B. Sims.
Survivors: daughter, Sheila M. Kimker of Thunderbolt; son, Harry McAleer of Ellabell; daughter, Sandra McCrae of Conway; 7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 27, 2008 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
