SAVANNAH- Wanda Sparks Sharp, 80, died Saturday, December 27, 2008, at St. Joseph's Hospital.
The Brooksville, KY native had lived in Savannah since 1975. She was a sales representative for Avon Cosmetics for more than 25 years and was a member of White Bluff United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sharp.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Kim Sharp of Savannah; three grandsons, Tyler, Hunter, and Tucker Sharp, all of Savannah; her sister, Ina Hedges of Ludlow, KY; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Interment will follow in Hillcrest Abbey West Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Calvary Day School, 4625 Waters Ave., Savannah, GA 31405.
I have fond memories of Wanda and her husband from many years ago. I considered them my friends.
