Margie Cowart Faircloth
February 28, 1923 - January 13, 2009
Margie Cowart Faircloth, 85, left this Earth and entered the arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 in Augusta, GA.
Mrs. Faircloth was born and reared in Savannah, GA the daughter of the late Judson and Estey Cowart. She was a self employed Barber, owning her shop on Barnard Street for many years. Margie was a faithful and longtime member of Bethel Alliance Church. She loved entertaining and offering overwhelming hospitality to her friends and family during the holiday season.
Mrs. Faircloth was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, C.J. Faircloth. She is survived by her sons, Nolan C. Faircloth and wife Sandra of Bloomingdale, GA and Jeff Faircloth III and wife Ruthie of Martinez, GA; grandchildren, Angela Fowler and husband Jack, Jeff Faircloth IV and Julie Kitchens and husband Michael; great granddaughter, Gracie Faircloth; brothers, Billy and Charles Cowart; sister, Ruby Fried and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service: 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until service time.
Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Jeff and Nolan, I was sad to hear of your loss of Aunt Margie, my thoughts and prayers are there with you, I am very sorry that I am unable to attend her funeral.I did not find out about her passing until about noon today Friday and was unable to get a replacement for myself at work. Love Kelly
