Savannah- Mrs. Margaret B. Buckner died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Memorial University Medical Center.

A native of Kingstree, SC, Mrs. Buckner moved to Savannah in 1950. She was formerly a member of Kingstree Baptist Church then for many years, a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Letha Britton; brother, William L. Britton and her husband, Henry F. Buckner,

Survivors: daughter, Connie Buckner of Savannah; two sisters, Mildred Barrett and her husband L.C. of Sumter, SC and Daisy James of Rocky Mount, NC; sister-in-law, Laura Britton of Salters SC and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 22, 2009 at the Islands Chapel of Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors.

Funeral Service: 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2009 at Riverside Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Black and Rev. Joe Conner officiating.

Burial: Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
